Measurement of mass and volume

This chemistry lesson focuses on matter, its properties, transformation, and understanding chemistry. The advantages and disadvantages of glassware, proper lab conduct, and hazard sign interpretation are reviewed. Measurement of mass and volume are introduced along with scientific units and tools. Special attention is paid to reading volumes with proper meniscus and eye alignment. Assignments for future grading consist of diagrams and volume problems.
